The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), a globally recognized leader in agricultural research and a member of the CGIAR system, marked its 65th anniversary in 2025 with the launch of its new website, IRRI.org. To support this milestone, IRRI partnered with Dthree Digital, a leading web design and development company based in Manila, Philippines, to rebuild its digital presence and create a future-ready platform for global audiences.

Our Work

Our consultancy covered the full lifecycle of the project: discovery and planning workshops, sitemap and information architecture, wireframes, UI styling, prototyping, and full development on Drupal. We also provided ongoing support to ensure alignment with IRRI’s evolving content needs and stakeholder inputs.

The redesign focused on clarity, accessibility, and scalability. We modernized the user experience, restructured content for easier navigation, and implemented flexible CMS capabilities for the IRRI team. With subtle design enhancements and globally accessible features, the new IRRI.org highlights IRRI’s mission to advance agricultural innovation, share research resources, and foster international collaboration.
